Help fight iron and micronutrient deficiencies by Drinking Minute Maid Nurisha

Whether we want to admit it or not, there is a great need to fight malnutrition because it affects our children and their future. I was a considered a child with malnutrition during my younger year ( in my elementary days to be exact). There was program back then that help us to fight malnutrition. Before and after my class, I was instructed to visit the school kitchen and there I am to be feed by the kitchen staff with healthy and nutritious food that would help me be strong and healthy and be able to study even better because I have an alert mind and body.

Recently, I was able to attend an event that focus on the mission , to fight malnutrition. Minute Maid, a subsidiary brand of TheCoca-Cola Company, recently launched ‘Minute Maid Nurisha,’ a great tasting, orange-flavored, micronutrient-fortified juice drink to help sustainably address Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) and micronutrient deficiencies among school-aged Filipino children at Sauyo Elementary School in Quezon City.

Sabin g Lola ko, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think your lola and Lolo’s also say these words to you. Sabi din nya, mag exercise tuwing umaga para ikaw ay sumigla, just like the lyrics of the song of Yoyong (I hope you heard it also especially during the morning exercise routine at our school)

Nutrition and exercise has to work hand in hand for us to us to be able to have an active and healthy lifestyle. Students are now focusing in gadgets and it high time that they enjoy some physical activities.
