My World Milk Day 2015 Family Run Experience

How I miss the days when my children are at my side every time there is an occasion or event. It was a good thing that my son EJ  was able to join me as the recent World Milk Day 2015 sponsored by Alaska last May 31, 2015. The event was held at SM MOA Grounds. It was not just an ordinary event because it promotes health and bonding with the family as well.
It was actually the 3rd year of Alaska Milk Corporation in hosting this event. Gathering families once again to celebrate the benefits of having a healthy and active lifestyle through the run, the family runs.

With the Alaska for Breakfast campaign, breakfast stations and milk bars were set up in all four areas which served all participants with pandesal , champorado, and milk for free. This it to encourage them to develop the habit of having a good breakfast with milk which is crucial since breakfast will provide  nutritious energy to start the day right and get through the event.

So many thing to do after and before the family fun run…………………….

I was so amaze on what I saw at the run. Different age, different groups ( not just family but barked  as well). I could not stop myself to take their photos to show the fun that they have during the run. The event only show that big things come from simple things.

The celebration culminated in a nationwide Milk toast at exactly 6:00 am where children and their families drank milk and pledge a healthy and active lifestyle
