Sumosam Gilmore : Now Open

Sumosam now have a branch in Gilmore, for those who love to eat Japanese food, here’s another place you will be happy to check out. Grand opening was held last January 21, and I was lucky to be part of the quest list to attend and have a taste of their famous Bento Box.

SumoSam is one of the leading chains of Japanese restaurants in the country, spearheaded by top restaurateurs and renowned chefs of today's generation. Adding to their list of menu, is the newest Bento Box which is served from 11-2 pm at Sumosam Gilmore

Known as the Yokozuna Bento, they have a variety of bento boxes to offer that will sure match your appetite. Choices includes perennial favorites such as mastodon, gluon, tomcats troikas curry and yakiniku

Furthermore, Sumosam offers a vast and creative menu selection. A good way to start is to sample their various sashimi and sushi dishes which include their popular spider and dynamite rolls; followed with a delicate bowl of hamachi jaw and head soup. Seafood fan would surely enjoy the outlet’s seafood teppan platter, grilled nagi, seafood yakisoba and salmon tartar fry. The rib eye’s and beef teppan’s doneness is based on client’s preference. For vegetarian, Sumosam’s tofu steak and vegetable kakiage are a must try. A big bowl of best of both worlds-with generous portions of ice cream, maraschino cherries, chocolate cookies, almonds and whipped cream is definitely the best option for those craving a sweet ending.
